THE SOUL WEATHER LOG
The Pulse Beneath the Noise
The world has never been louder. News cycles move faster than ever. Artificial intelligence can echo our thoughts with remarkable fluency. Opinions compete for our attention every minute of the day.
Yet beneath the headlines, another story is unfolding.
The quieter emotional climate we all live within.
Soul Weather is a weekly invitation to pause and notice it. Not to predict the future. Not to tell you what to believe.
Simply to observe what may be quietly shaping our individual and collective experience.
Why I created Soul Weather Log
Soul Weather began with a simple question: What if we paid as much attention to our inner climate as we do the external weather?
Each week explores the meeting place between current events, psychology, human behaviour, lived experience and quiet reflection.
Some observations are supported by established evidence. Others remain thoughtful questions. Where uncertainty exists, the True • False • Pin It. framework is applied, allowing curiosity to remain without pretending certainty.
How it’s created
Every Sunday, I begin by observing the week that’s been.
Current events are reviewed, patterns explored and multiple AI-generated reflections are used as thinking partners - never as authorities. I compare, question, edit, remove, rewrite and challenge what emerges before applying the TFP framework.
The finished Soul Weather Log is then narrated by Oppa, a familiar voice that has quietly accompanied this journey from its earliest days.
The process is intentionally transparent. My hope is not to create dependency, but to encourage discernment.
An invitation
Soul Weather is for anyone who occasionally feels overwhelmed by noise. You don’t need to share my worldview. Only a willingness to pause.
Perhaps collective weather is shaped, in part, by millions of individual climates. If so, every thoughtful conversation, every quiet act of kindness and every moment of discernment contributes something to the wider human story.
May these weekly reflections simply offer a moment to pause…
…and listen for the pulse beneath the noise.
